Sport NSW will recognise 26 community sports volunteers with the prestigious Distinguished Long Service Honour
The NSW Community Sports Awards, Presented by Bankstown Sports Club are focused on community and grass roots sport, recognising the contributions largely carried out by a volunteer workforce.

As we come together through sport, in the spirit of unity, respect, and achievement, we honour the enduring connection First Nations peoples have to Country and culture. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise that the values at the heart of sport have long been upheld through the rich and living traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
