Your privacy is important to us; therefore it is important to us that you are comfortable with how we treat your personal information.

Purpose

We gather your personal information to provide you with our various services.  These service include informing/inviting you to upcoming workshops, seminars, forums, sports industry news, notices of meetings and opportunities for individuals and/or organisations involved in sport, conducting marketing research to service you better, developing alliances with other organisations to promote and utilise our respective products.

If we do not receive the personal information we require, we may not be able to provide you with our services appropriately.

We will limit the disclosure and use of personal information provided by us to third parties to the specific purpose for which we supplied it (except with the consent of the individual).  We will take reasonable steps to ensure that whatever information we collect, use of disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date.

Third Party Information

If you provide us with personal information about third parties, particularly sensitive information, we depend on you to inform the third party about our privacy policy in relation to how we gather, store and use their information.  You must notify us if you have not done so before providing us with the information.

Sport NSW Information

If we provide you with personal information, you must use the information for what it was intended.

Confidentiality Statement

All employees - paid and voluntary who handle private information will sign a Sport NSW Confidentiality Agreement.  Only those that have been authorised by Sport NSW will be able to handle personal information.

Information Technology

A periodic IT audit will be conducted to assess and provide security of information placed within our information technology systems.

Changes

Please check the Privacy Policy from time to time as we may update it.  We will endevour to contact you about changes we make to the Privacy Policy.
