Archery NSW will be hosting it's State Indoor Championships on Saturday 22 and 23 July 2017.  They invite you to see top NSW and Australia archers at the two day competition where 180 competitors with take part from 29 registered clubs.

Recurve archers will be competing on the Saturday and Compound Shooters taking the floor on Sunday.  After registration and equipment inspection, archers will commence shooting around 9.30am until completed.

The Round being shot is a Double Australian Indoor 1, which comprises of 2 x 30 arrows shot on a 40cm face, where the Las Vegas target face is used:

Followed by a World Archery Indoor round of 60 arrows. Archers can choose either a Full Target face (which scores from 10 points to 1 point) and / or a 3 spot vertical target face (where 10 to 6 points only are recorded). More experienced archers would shoot this round.

Archers are grouped either A / B / C or D archer and will shoot three arrows, in three spot vertical space with only one arrow being permitted in each target face. The highest scoring arrow being deducted should two hit the same target.

The Menai event is linked to the National Indoor Championships which is being held in several venues around Australia in each state, therefore the scores for athletes provide both NSW and National Rankings
