An exciting new addition to the Sport NSW calendar - The Professional Partner Group (TPPG) and Sport NSW have partnered to offer Embedding Modern Governance in Community Sports Clubs workshops.

These practical workshops are ideal for community sports clubs with limited financial and management resources, to help them understand the governance essentials and what they need to do to reshape their approach. At conclusion, participants will be aware of their obligations, be able to build governance content and embed good governance into the club. The workshops provide an overview of the theory and practice for committee members and management to help build their understanding to better frame their meeting agenda. 

Registrations for the upcoming Embedding Modern Governance in Community Sports Clubs workshops are now open for Community Sporting Club committee members who wish to work together to improve the governance of their club. It is recommended that club committees attend in groups of 2-4 to get the full benefit of the course material.
