Event information

This event has passed.

Our Member NSW Waterski Federation is hosting a Water Ski day open to any person with a physical disability or vision impairment where people with disabilities can Come n Try or develop their water skiing skills.

NSW Waterski Federation holds training days where those skiers who are serious about the sport, can train with a coach or professional skier.  Skiers who wish to take it to the next level can possibly go on to competing in State, National & World Titles.

We hold a pool of various modified sit skis & other equipment including life jackets, ski ropes & handles that is available to be used by the skiers.

Our Water Ski Days are usually held at NSW Waterski Gardens (Wisemans Ferry) or at St George Rowing Club (Cooks River) or at Manly Dam.

It is a great alternative sport that can operate on different levels, depending on the skier. The skier can enjoy an experience of being towed behind the boat at a low speed or, they can experience a faster speed, crossing & jumping the wake. It's totally up to the skier!

Cost for First Time Skiers $50
(this includes your Day Membership $25 + Ski Costs $25)
