Ability Links NSW is hosting a series of 'Sporting Chance' forums to build and promote inclusion in our communities, and to answer some questions:

• How do we promote the inclusive work we are already doing in our sports clubs?
• How can we obtain funds to support our plans for inclusion?
• What equipment, coaching skills or environmental changes are needed to include people with disabilities?
• Can we cater for everyone's needs in our club? 

Many of the thousands of people who engage with Ability Links each year are looking to play or become involved in sport and recreational activities, and to make new friends and connections to like-minded peers through those activities. These ‘Sporting Chance’ forums support local sport and recreation clubs to build their capacity to welcome those people and help them to achieve their goals just by participating. 

The forums will feature speakers from Sport NSW, All Abilities Sports Coaching and Office of Sport

There will be 5 free forums in the Hunter region, all running from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.

• 10 May: CESSNOCK
• 16 May: LAKE MACQUARIE
• 17 May: MAITLAND
• 23 May: PORT STEPHENS
