Sport NSW invites all students with a sensory, physical or intellectual disability to the free Activate Inclusion Sports Day.
The event is designed to provide students aged 5-18 with the opportunity to experience mainstream sports in a positive and inclusive environment, with the use of adaptive equipment.
Participants will experience a variety of modified sporting activities on the day, to be facilitated by specialised coaches with the support of students from local universities and community organisations.
Prior to the Activation Inclusion event, Sport NSW asks each student to complete a questionnaire form either online here or the downloadable version here. This enables Sport NSW and Variety - the Children's Charity NSW/ACT to improve service quality delivery and cater to the needs of all participants.
Sport NSW recommends the questionnaire be sent home to parents/guardians along with permission notes. In order to take part in the event, each student must complete the questionnaire prior to the event (with assistance as required).
