Timeout Talk three: A Conversation around Physical Literacy
Prior to COVID-19, the most concerning global pandemic was arguably that of physical inactivity. However, this forced pause in sport, physical education and organised physicaly activity provides an opportunity for sport to press the re-set button for participants and increase the quantity and quality of the population's physical activity behaviours. In this webinar, three expert panelists will share their thoughts on how a focus on physical literacy can enhance the sporting and movement experiences of all people engaging in sport, movement and physical activity.
The panelists for the evening include Gareth Long (Director of Program Innovation and Development, ACPE), Pierre Comis (Head of Schools and Participation, Special Olympics Australia) and Dr Juanita Weissensteiner (Principal Advisor Talent Pathways, NSW Office of Sport).
