Timeout Talk:
Former Sydney Kings Coach, Bob Turner, takes a group of sports veterans through values learned from sport that stamped their career. Bob Turner came to Australia 44 years ago with the values instilled in him from an early age – to earn respect through integrity and credibility. Through his role with the West Sydney Wolves Sports Association, Bob has assembled an elite group to discuss how the essential values and disciplines of team sport apply to leadership in order to achieve more successes and fewer failures. Former teacher and professional sports coach, Mark Bragg, has channelled his learnings from sport to become an elite leadership and management coach and will discuss the five lessons of a leaders journey from his book ‘Hard Road’. Rob Beveridge outlines in his latest book, ‘When Winning Matters’, the attributes he has followed to become one of the most successful basketball coaches in the country with a reputation of eliciting the best from his talent.
