Sport NSW has collaborated with Randwick City Council and the University of NSW (UNSW) to host a Girls Get Active Day on Wednesday 7th June.

The event will take place at UNSW where local high-school girls aged 11-16 will come together to listen to a panel of high-profile female athletes and take part in an active participation session to try a variety of new sports and activities. The panel will consist of up to five athletes from different sports including Olympic Sprinter Jessica Thornton, Hockeyroo Kate Jenner, Paralympic Swimmer Prue Watt, GWS Giants player Emma Swanson and Jillaroo Maddie Studdon.

Sport NSW affiliate member Randwick City Council, is committed to growing female participation in their region and this event provides a perfect platform for local girls to discover what opportunities are available to them.
