2016 NSW Sports Awards - Nominations now open!

Sport NSW is proud to launch the NSW Sports Awards for 2016. The Sports Awards program has been running since 1994, and serves to celebrate the achievements of athletes, coaches, officials, administrators and organisations on an annual basis.
The 2016 NSW Sports Awards will be presented at a Gala Dinner held at the elegant Curzon Hall, Marsfield on Thursday 23 February 2017.
The program consists of sixteen (16) categories including an award for Distinguished Long Service.

We now invite all members to consider the achievements of their athletes, teams, coaches, officials and administrators for the 2016 calendar year. Take the opportunity to celebrate the great achievements of all our sports people in NSW in the following categories:

| 2 | Young Athlete of the Year | 10 | Coach of the Year (National Professional Leagues) |
| 3 | Masters Athlete or Masters Team of the Year | 11 | Official of the Year |
| 4 | Athlete of the Year with a Disability | 12 | Administrator of the Year |
| 5 | Young Athlete of the Year with a Disability | 13 | Volunteer Director of the Year |
| 6 | Team of the Year | 14 | Organisation of the Year |
| 7 | Team of the Year (National Professional Leagues) | 15 | Event of the Year |
| 8 | Team of the Year with a Disability | 16 | Distinguished Long Service Award |
