2023 AGM and Industry Forum

Sport NSW held its Industry Forum and AGM today with the organisation reporting on a strong year of progress and financial prudence at The Locker Room, Sydney Olympic Park.
The election of Directors was also held with further terms for Board Members, Dr Tracie Edmondson, Ellie Laing-Southwood, Matthew O’Connor and Tiffany Robertson resolved by the members.
Chair Chris Hall gave an overview of the organisation’s performance and made a presentation to former director Susan Horwitz, who retired from the board earlier this year.
The Industry Forum included a presentation and Industry panel discussion led by strategic negotiators Sam Trattles and Sarah Procajlo from Other Side of the Table. The session sparked a compelling debate amongst the panel on how sports can best leverage these trends to bring about stronger partnerships and higher revenues.
Other Side of the Table also launched their new program, YOUR PARTNERSHIP BUILDER, that is designed specifically to show sports industry professionals how to:
• Build an effective commercial partnership plan
• Land the right brands and partners
• Manage partnerships effectively and confidently
