Term 1 and 2 Activate Inclusion Sports Days Postponed

Due to the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, Sport NSW and Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT have declared that all Activate Inclusion Sports Days due to take place in NSW School Term 1 AND Term 2 have been postponed in accordance with recommendations from NSW Health and the NSW Department of Education.
The postponed events for Term 1 include Blacktown on 25th March, Sutherland on 27th March, Wagga Wagga on 2nd April and Newcastle on 7th April, while the postponed events for Term 2 include Tweed Heads on 11th May, Coffs Harbour on 12th May, Sydney on 21st May, Fairfield on 26th May, Hills on 24th June and Griffith on 3rd July. It is the intention of Sport NSW and Variety - the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT to reschedule all Activate Inclusion Sports Days when it is safe and advisable to do so.
The Activate Inclusion Sports Days can attract between 150 to 350 students, in addition to sports coaches, teachers, event staff and community volunteers. Our absolute focus is on protecting the health and wellbeing of all participants, particularly as these students may be vulnerable or more susceptible to infection.
