Golf fans are in for a treat when Australia’s best professional golfers lock horns with the country’s finest amateurs and a host of international talent at the 2017 NSW Open Golf Championship this November.

The magnificent Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club at Luddenham will see 156 golfers compete for the Kel Nagle Cup which is awarded to the champion.

“The field of players assembling to contest the Kel Nagle Cup is high class,” General Manager of Golf - Golf NSW Graeme Phillipson said. “It’s going to be a real treat for fans of the game across NSW.”

Queensland’s Adam Blyth lifted the trophy in 2016 after a superb performance over the four days. Blyth held on over the final holes to record a three shot triumph over boom youngster Brett Coletta and Western Australia’s Jarryd Felton. The win, the biggest win of his career also saw Blyth collect a cool $72,000.

“It will be great to see Adam back to defend his title this year,” Mr Phillipson said. “He is a wonderful player and a fine ambassador for the sport.”
