Inclusion Knowledge Exchange Program

Published Mon 10 Apr 2017

Sport NSW in partnership with the Office of Sport are conducting an inclusion workshop, to be held on Thursday 27 April, with invitations open to all State Sporting Organisations with a Disability. There will be a strong focus on collaboration with State Sporting Organisations across upskilling mainstream sport in relation to educating staff on inclusion aspects of their games. This includes coaching, officiating and participating.

Murray Elbourn and Margot Zaska will then deliver an Inclusion knowledge exchange program with multiple State Sporting Organisations. Netball NSW and Football NSW will be the first two organisations to take advantage of this initiative in early May.

The aim of this program is to combine theory with practical game play across the major represented disabilities of physical, sensory and intellectual which make up the newly formed inclusion leagues across mainstream sport.

If your State Sporting Organisation would like to book in an Inclusion Knowledge Exchange Day please contact Murray Elbourn at Sport NSW murray.elbourn@sportnsw.com.au or 0427 186 734.
