Sport NSW Hosts its First Local Council Conference

As a new addition in 2020, Sport NSW is partnering with ACPE to host its first Local Council Conference on Thursday 20 February.
This half-day event will run from 12-4pm and is aimed specifically at those working in and around local government in NSW.
An opening address will be given by Gary Groves, Executive Director, Stronger Communities, Investment and Inclusion alongside Karen Jones, Manager of Disability Inclusion, FACS, while other insightful sessions will include;
- Disability Inclusion Action Plan
- Drought & Bushfire Response
- Regional Collaboration & Activation and NDIS
- The Changing Demands of Managing Sports Clubs and Facilities
For those interested in both the Local Council Conference and Sport NSW Industry Conference the following day, a ‘package deal’ is available which provides a reduced rate for attendance at both.
