National Redress Scheme - Where to now?
National Redress Scheme - Where to now?

For non-government institutions and service providers all around Australia, understanding the National Redress Scheme is an important but often confusing matter. This keynote address will provide a unique chance to learn more about how the National Redress Scheme is relevant to the sport and recreation sector, and what the expectations of organisations that work with children are.

Delivered by Kathryn Periac, Assistant Director, Institutions Onboarding at the Department of Social Services, this presentation will provide a rare opportunity to hear from someone working directly in the External Engagement Branch of the National Redress Scheme.

Kathryn’s career has been in sport, principally in high performance leadership roles within NSOs and also at the AIS and Sport Australia. For the last two years she has been working within the Redress Scheme to support a wide range of community organisations understanding and joining the Scheme.
