Dear [[NAME]],

Sport NSW COVID-19 Update

The impact of coronavirus (COVID-19), both real and perceived is evolving at a rapid rate. Sport NSW is actively monitoring the latest updates on COVID-19 and will continue to provide updates to our members as they become available.

At this stage, the Australian government has placed a ban on all major events with more than 500 people. There is currently no restrictions on participating in or attending events in NSW with less than 500 people.

The Department of Education has also announced the introduction of proactive measures in schools, including the cancellation of excursions, travel and inter-school events.

A group of state and national sporting organisations are currently working through the impact of COVID-19 on community sport and recreation activities. Any updates will be provided as soon as they are available.

It is important that sporting organisations and clubs stay up to date on the latest COVID-19 information to ensure they can make informed decisions that best protect their members. The following links provide the latest updates, including information about prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

Sport NSW also reminds you that personal hygiene is of paramount importance during this time, and we advise clubs and associations to be diligent with hygiene and cleaning of common areas. Shared facilities such as clubhouses, changerooms and toilets should be kept clean and adequate soap, hand sanitiser and disinfectants should be available. Encouraging participants, staff, spectators and volunteers to remain vigilant with their personal hygiene is also recommended.

Expressions of Interest - Cameron Schwab Leadership Masterclass
  Cam Schwab

Following Cameron Schwab's incredible keynote presentation, 'Finding Something', at the recent Industry Conference, Sport NSW is looking to bring his Leadership Masterclass to Sydney again.

The Leadership Materclass is a sophisticated, intimate, immersive and practical one-day intensive workshop for aspirational leaders, both current and emerging. The masterclass is facilitated by Cameron Schwab, CEO & Founder, Design CEO, who draws on his fully-lived leadership experience as a CEO in elite sports for over 25 years, as he confronts the reality of leadership, its complexity and ambiguity.

High-performing and ambitious organisations are often dealing with complexity and ambiguity, particularly in times of change and uncertainty. Schwab teaches a system that is focused on high-performance leadership habits which enable leaders to establish their daily practice of leadership excellence, all capable of being executed in high-stakes environments.

Please Note: While we were initially hoping to lock in a date in May, we will now be postponing the Leadership Masterclass until later in the year due to the current COVID-19 issues. We will stay in touch with everyone that has expressed their interest and will keep you updated on further details as they become available.

To register your interest in this Leadership Masterclass, please email us at info@sportnsw.com.au.
